Diplomacy is not the strong point of most Australian PMs and MPs. They seem to suffer from the foot in the mouth disease, or obsessive-compulsive disorder in targeting at China.

Language used by the Morrison-Dutton-Payne clique towards China has been unfriendly and fairly aggressive; in fact, more like the language used by bullies asking for a fight.

Australia and its allies expect China to change from Communism to Democracy, or conform to their system. However, how would all these do-gooder countries react or respond if China tells them to change their political system to Communism? Very likely, Australia and the rest will ask China to go jump, and bugger off!

Australia Commonwealth government has problem getting the state governments to agree on issues such as border closure and reopening. How can it tell other sovereign countries how to run their affairs. Put it bluntly, stop telling China how to suck eggs?

Man in his 20s among Victoria's latest COVID-19 victims as state records 372 new cases

Expect the unexpected. Test the children. They are exempt from social distancing and from wearing mask. Adults carry the children, hug and kiss them, and take for granted that they are low risk as backed by local and international statistics. Unfortunately, the less of the children being tested, the lower number of infected cases.

Children are easily infected by cold and flu, small pox, measles, polio and whooping cough. Why is SARS-Cov-2 so different, not infecting children in larger number? Are children the asymptomatic spreader of unknown source?
